Orange Park Florida is less than thirty minutes south of Jacksonville, on the west bank of the St. Johns River. Use Orange Park Florida Bed and Breakfasts as a base for travel to Jacksonville - the state’s largest metropolitan area.

Jacksonville has many attractions. Guests of Orange Park Florida Bed and Breakfasts may travel around the world without leaving Jacksonville during the annual World of Nations Celebrations - a multi-cultural extravaganza. They may listen to some of the greatest names in jazz at the Jacksonville Jazz Festival each Memorial Day - an event that coincides with the Wine Down Tasting Experience and Art in the Heart Downtown, a juried show. They may spend a day at the Jacksonville Art Museum or the Museum of Arts and Sciences. The Cummer Art Gallery is always worth a visit, as well.

Festivals include the Jacksonville Sea and Sky Spectacular, which fills the fall skies with dancing Blue Angels and the streets with live music and vendor booths. Metropolitan Park presents a host of different outdoor concerts and performances throughout the year; a favorite is Starry Nights, when the Jacksonville Symphony joins forces with a national performer.

Many people travel to Orange Park to watch Jacksonville Greyhound Racing at the Orange Park Kennel Club. This is an elegant facility, with ample clubhouse and grandstand seating and plenty of space for those who like to cheer the dogs from the ground. The clubhouse and banquet facilities offer satisfying food at reasonable prices. Races take place several times each day, Monday through Sunday.
