The small town of Branford in Northwest Florida is an hour southeast of Tallahassee and less than two hours southwest of Jacksonville. Branford is a quiet town on the Suwannee River, and Branford Florida Bed and Breakfasts are ideal for folks looking to escape the noise and congestion of the city.

In spite of the rural setting, the arts thrive in and around Branford. Live music is featured throughout the year in Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, about twenty miles north of Branford. Annual events such as the Festival of Lights, Suwannee Springfest, and the Suwannee River Jam showcase some of the best talent in the region. Art walks take place regularly in nearby Live Oak, as well.

Outdoor recreation abounds in Suwannee County. Miles of hiking trails follow the Suwannee River, over bluffs and through forests. Paddlers coast down the meandering Suwannee River, and cyclists explore the roads.

Perhaps the most interesting activity stems from the nearly dozen springs throughout the county - cave diving. Wes Skiles Peacock Springs State Park has one of the largest underwater cave systems in the United States, featuring at least 33,000 feet of tunnels, passages, and caverns. Branford's Little River Springs also has a large network of underwater caves, while Branford Springs features a clear pool 70 feet wide and 15 feet deep.

Branford Florida Bed and Breakfasts welcome all guests, those who come to relax in the quiet of the country, work, or to be close to underwater caverns.
