FSU Flying High Circus

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

When folks think of traveling to Northwest Florida, they think of long stretches of sparsely populated beaches. They think of fishing villages and quaint historic towns. It is probably safe to say that most travelers to Northwest Florida are not thinking about the circus.

But they should.

Florida State University in Tallahassee boasts one of only two collegiate circuses in the United States. This unique tradition began in 1947, and has been going strong ever since. FSU students may participate in the Circus year-round, as part of their collegiate experience. It is a tremendous opportunity for them, and a great experience for those folks fortunate enough to witness it. In short, the FSU Flying High Circus rivals professional circuses.

A thrilling addition to your Tallahassee vacation.
