In our own little world far removed from the “new” Florida of high rises and traffic congestion, the only ‘high rises’ in our neighborhood are the swaying palm trees; the only commuters are the colorful migratory birds who inhabit our coast.

And yet just a short drive, or boat ride, from Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Sanibel and Captiva Islands and the Gulf of Mexico.
