Indiantown sits between Lake Okeechobee and the Atlantic Ocean in Central East Florida. This small community on the banks of the St. Lucie Canal takes its name from the Seminole Indians who settled here in the early 1800's, when the United States Military followed suit. The town as it is today was not settled until the 1890's.
