Cocoa Beach is located on narrow barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean and the Banana River Lagoon in Central East Florida, five miles south of Cape Canaveral and ninety minutes south of Daytona Beach. One of the most popular destinations on the Space Coast, it is a place where one can watch the launch of a space shuttle, witness sea turtles nesting, and enjoy some of the finest surfing on the east coast.

The Kennedy Space Center is located on a large wildlife refuge less than thirty miles north of Cocoa Beach Florida Bed and Breakfasts. Visitors have the unique opportunity to tour NASA launch and landing facilities and speak with trained astronauts. An IMAX theater reveals some of the mysteries of space, and the KSC Tour provides 360 degree views of the the two shuttle launch pads.

Paddlers will enjoy exploring trails that lead through the marshes of Shipyard Island, and Mosquito Lagoon is a good place to spot manatees and dolphins. Nearby Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge is paradise for birders. Keep an eye out for alligators while walking along the short boardwalk along the marsh.

Cocoa Beach itself has much to offer travelers to Cocoa Beach Florida Bed and Breakfasts.
